Due to Covid-19, we had to start finding alternative ways to present our concert and events programme and engage with the wider community. This was vital in allowing us to continue to provide public access to the arts, as well as employment to artists, creatives and crew.
Regardless of Covid, however, there will always be people within our community who are unable to attend live events. On a pilot basis, and thanks to the Arts Council Capacity Building Support Scheme, we are working on plans that will extend the reach of UCH events and concerts into new areas of our community, including into the Daughters of Charity Limerick and other residential care settings.
A large number of residents were supported to join the virtual UCH Panto at Christmas and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The panto made for a great entertainment for both residents and staff over the festive season
