UL CREATIVE WRITING FESTIVAL 2025

A much-loved highlight of the year for all readers and book lovers, the UL Creative Writing Festival returns, featuring a stellar line-up of award-winning writers: including Marian Keyes, Sarah Gilmartin, Paul Lynch, Donal Ryan, Joseph O’Connor, Liz Nugent, Paul Muldoon, Sarah Moore, Emily Cullen, Eoin Devereux, Kerry Neville and more. The Festival will include panels from the Irish Writers Centre and readings from debut novels published by UL Creative Writing MA graduates, Sharon Guard, Neil Tully, June O’Sullivan, Grainne O’Brien and the late Patrick Kelly. Poetry, prose, talks, writing tips, book signings; events taking place in the beautiful campus of University of Limerick. With the support of the UL President’s Office, the Irish World Academy of Music & Dance, Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science, the School of English, Irish, and Communication, O’Mahony’s booksellers, Bill and Denise Whelan, Paddy and Darlene Meskell, the University Concert Hall, and the Irish Writers Centre.
