University Concert Hall is delighted to continue its Rising Stars Concert series, which was first established in 2016 to bring young, talented classical artists to new audiences. It gives us great pleasure to work with leading institutions to present truly gifted musicians and singers, all of whom will perform programmes of their own choosing.
They will be accompanied during the concert by renowned pianist Dearbhla Collins
Meet our performers:
Matteo Lo Bracco- Italian violinist, violist, and chamber musician known for his versatility and artistry.
Leanne Fitzgerald- mezzo-soprano making waves in Ireland’s classical music scene. With a passion for contemporary opera, she thrives as both a soloist and ensemble singer.
Ben O’Brien -clarinettist with a love for diverse musical styles. As a soloist, he has showcased his talent in numerous competitions and recitals.
Defne Gultoprak- award-winning pianist whose talent has earned her international recognition.
David Kennedy- talentedbaritone, a Young Artist with the Irish National Opera Studio, fascination with the music-making process.
